Ruth Notman free download

As part of the Pete Seeger night on BBC Radio 2, The Mike Harding show featured some specially recorded Seeger covers by some great folk artists. Ruth Notman was delighted to record her take on the famous track 'Little Boxes'. You can download the track for free on her web site.

Ruth has also been involved in the “All Along The Wall" songwriting project based on the experiences of life around Hadrians Wall both ancient and modern. Eight internationally known performers (five songwriters and three performance poets) stayed together near to the wall where in just 5 days the wrote a 75 minute piece of new work.  Ruth then joined fellow songwriters Rory McLeod, Julie Matthews, Boo Hewerdine, Jez Lowe  and Poets Kate Fox, Matt Harvey and Elvis McGonnagall to perform their newly created work on the 31st January at The Wave Centre, Maryport.

The show will be performed again at The Brampton Live Festival (where Ruth will also do a spot with her Trio) and then in Early 2011 at The Sage in Gateshead.
